Dividends

Dividends for 2025 is shown in this chart where the payment for full year is shown. I set at target of 5000 SEK for 2025, which is fulfilled, and for 2026 I will set 10000 SEK as a target. As you see from dividends, its a start (compared to 2023) for me where I am getting around to 2% to 6% from the invested companies. I will try to update this list on a monthly basis, so stay tunned.

My strategy

After I changed my strategy (End of 2023). Now I invest exclusively in “dividend stocks”. Good companies with good dividends, simply put. As an investor, you can get far with only Swedish companies, but when you, like me, are particularly fond of rising dividends, there are often some nice American dividend increasers as well. I own Realty Income, for example, which has consistently achieved higher profits and increased its dividend every year for over 25 years. I don’t mind if the stock market declines, but rather the opposite. Since I regularly buy shares, I am happy if I get more shares for the money. As a net buyer, I naturally prefer a lower price. My focus is on my portfolio’s total dividend rather than the value of my holdings. I am very long-term and often enter investments with the idea of holding for 10, 20, 30 years or even “forever”. It happens that I weight different holdings up/down, but I do not sell/buy to mark peaks/bottoms. When the stock market goes down, I usually sit calmly and think that I will get more shares for the money.
