I wish all readers a very happy new year 2026.
As I highlighted during my last post in december 2025, its been hectic with travels both business and personal, so I did not find time to write much.
Now I am back and trying to wrap 2025 and looking into 2026.

How did my 2025 go?
A strong stock market year is over with most of the indixes showing above 10% gains. However my own returns for 2025 is negative (-7%). Atomera (ATOM) stock is the sole reason for this otherwise it would have been +10%, which is ok. As I still consider my portfolio in a base building phase rather than developing/performance phase.
How happy are you with your portfolio performance?
Ofcouse negative since there was no growth.
Goals for 2026?
Simple, want a positive develoment during 2026.
Reflections and lessons learned from 2025?
Atomera stock has been weighing on my portfolio all these years. I started investing during 2020 where the porfolio performed well during the COVID times until 2022, then free fall started, as I did not focus on diversification. Also, personally I was at a different phase where I had different prioritise at home with a small kid.
During 2024 is when I changed my goals and totally focused on building dividend stocks with good stable companies in my portfolio. 2025 I feel the portfolio has evolved to be a stable stock portfolio with good diversification.
So the goal for 2026 is to find growth with my current portfolio, along with doubling the dividends compared to 2025 (2025 dividends received, 5000 SEK).
