Hello Everyone, I hope you all had a good time off with your family and also took some time to reflect on 2023 (things that went good and things that can be improved) and started settings goals for 2024.
I always do this, both for my professional planning and also for my personal investments, both into stock market and also real estate investments.
Reflections 2023:
Coming to my 2023 reflections on stock market investing, it has been a neutral year where I did not loose neither gain much, the reason being my portfolio is not balanced between dividend stocks and growth stocks. I have been thinking of doing it since 2022 however the current market conditions did not allow me to adjust/balance the portfolio, the way I wanted to, and even during 2023. So, this is my big take away from 2023, which I am very keen to change during 2024.
Goals for 2024:
Dividend stocks – As I highlighted during earlier posts, I know I do have a good and balanced dividend stocks. But the invested capital is low in these stocks, which I will try to increase, during 2024. Also in the blog, I will mention more about these stocks progress during various quarters.
Growth Stocks – Here too I am happy with the potential growth stocks that I have today. However 2024 plan is to keep the stocks, as I truly believe in – patience as the key, when it comes to investing. As long as the management is delivering consistently.
So here is the goal for 2024. Lets continue the trend and I hope you hang on with me in this journey…
