Stock market is in a sell-off phase, which is totally understood as historically September is a down month in which stocks have averaged a decline (Source: DJIA) over the past 50 years. This is just another 5% routine decline, so do not read too much into this seasonal stock market weakness, there could be many reasons for it like inflation, government shut-down, war etc. Instead focus on the 1% stocks (disruptive stock) that give you the exponential gains, in the long run.
